Outreach/Community Engagement
1. Tabling at Networking Events including:
   • Bioneers Conference
   • That's My Farmer
   • Eat Here Now
   • Lane County Good Earth Home Show
2. Hosted World Food Day Teleconference
3. Held a daylong Educational Symposium with presentations on eight distinct aspects of local food systems
4. Councilors have reached diverse audiences through presentations and/or as participants on panels at events such as:
• Area Re-localization Conference
• Lane Council of Governments
• UO classes on Agriculture and Sustainability

Legislative/Policy Activity
1. Meetings with policy makers including Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy and City of Eugene Office of Sustainability Manager Felicity Fahy
2. Supported policy change through endorsement, testimonials or other activities in a variety of areas including:
• Farm to School Bills
• County funding of OSU Extension Programs
• School Wellness Policies
• Statewide School Nutrition Standards Act (the "Junk Food Ban")
• Formation of a Statewide Food Policy Council
• Eugene's Sustainable Business Initiative
