Krishna Singh Khalsa, summarizes his life work into the following areas of activity: social activist, entrepreneur, writer, teacher of yoga and meditation, consultant, and project manager. He has sustained an entrepreneurial business career spanning 35 years, involving business startups in manufacturing, natural foods restaurants and food processing, small business accounting, computer systems consulting and software development, and micro-nutritional network marketing. He has served as a teacher and practitioner of meditation, Kundalini Yoga, and healthy lifestyle development for more than 35 years. He served seven years during the 1970’s as an instructor in the U.S. Army Reserve leadership academy in Los Angeles, California. He is currently developing accounting and administrative software to provide consulting and organic certification support for organic food processors and distributors. He recently retired from Golden Temple Inc. after managing their organic certification and technical services information systems for eight years. Krishna Singh Khalsa has been involved with the formation of the Lane County Food Policy Council since March 2004.
